The top-ranked University of Iowa wrestling team won its 21st national title and crowned two individual champions in senior Mark Perry and sophomore Brent Metcalf at the 2008 NCAA Championships Saturday night in St. Louis, MO.

The top-ranked University of Iowa wrestling team clinched its 21st national team title and its first since 2000 Saturday morning at the 2008 NCAA Championships in St. Louis, MO.
Sophomore Hudson Taylor stunned top-seeded and defending national champion Josh Glenn of American and then beat eighth-seeded Craig Brester of Nebraska to take third place in the 197-pound division of the 2008 NCAA Championships on March 22 at Scottrade Center. Taylor was down 5-1 against Glenn and 4-1 versus Brester but came from behind to steal both victories.
