The orthopedic surgeon who did my hip replacement told me he is not a big fan of running. I used to run about 15 miles a week in my 30's and 40's, and he felt that this contributed to my joint degeneration. My wife insists that it's from getting all twisted up wrestling. I told her that I was usually the one doing the twisting (okay, so I lied a little).
