What are the best lifts for wrestling?
Squats, power cleans, hang cleans, front squat, leg press, snatches, etc?
I've never seriously lifted weights and this year was my first year wrestling, while I progressed quickly with my technique, I realized that sometimes strength can be a huge variable in a match. I do a lot of body weigh exercises - push ups, pull ups, sit ups, pistol squats, etc. These are good, but I feel like I'm not getting the most out of what I could be.
What lifts should I do to become the strongest I possibly can?
