Well is that true? Should I jog after my workout or not?

muscle is "built" in that, muscle fibers are added, by exercising them to the point where they rip. Your body goes, "ima build it up stronger, so next time, it wont rip" and does so. in order to build it up it needs to get protein and water and lots of fun biology stuff to the muscle. via blood. blood will go there in high volume and go to work stitching things up. Performing cardio exercise immediately after would disrupt this blood flow pattern cause its cardio. it that way, your muscles not having been immediately repared in immediate reaction to the lifting, will repair with overall less muscle added on. again, more fibers, more pull etc yatta yatta.
However, you are on a forum where, for the most part, people tend to believe in teaching the fiber to fire properly as being of much greater importance that having more muscle fiber. building muscle fiber is only a first step in getting proper atletic muscle. after creating it, it must be trained to be good at all the fun athletic things that wrestlers do. the "non-standard" workouts and full body speed exercises do this primarily.
Re: Jogging After Workout
i've never reallly found jogging to be that beneficial during the season. sprinting, burpees, and barbell complexes (or kettlebell or sandbags!) have worked much better for me when i did them once or twice over the weekend or to fill up an off-day during the week. if your practices resemble ones i had, you're probably getting a decent aerobic cardio workout (bearing in mind, of course, that wrestling is anaerobic).
simply put, i don't feel that a post workout jog wouldn't really present any benefits to you as a wrestler.
