Just decided to do something different. I liked this workout, it was a little good cardio and was a bit challenging at the end. I won't jog until my cold goes away. Is that justified or should I jog anyways? It is about 35 degrees these days.

Short workout, it was really late, 12:30 a.m. And had an upset stomach so I just cut it short.

    Wrestling practice.

Personal accomplishment - Survived practice with a stiff back.

The scrimmage was just like another practice. And I didn't get to wrestle anyone. We did a lot of live wrestling today.

Back is getting better. I think I got a stiff back because I made my brother forcibly stretch my back and I just dealt with the pain. I guess that wasn't a very smart decision.

But man, wrestling and school work really took up my day today. Didn't have much free time today. But thats okay.

So far I just took a hydration test today. I totaled in at 7 percent body fat and I am going to wrestle the weight class 140. At the time of the hydration test when I forced myself to drink a lot of water I was 139.4 pounds. And I am 5'10 feet tall.

I have wrestle-offs on wednesday and tournament next sunday.

I'm surprised my back is still giving me a bit of trouble. I'm starting to get worried a little. Its not as bad as before but its not good either.

The day is not done yet. Hopefully I can go to the gym today, I feel that I am not as strong for my weight class as I would like to be. I'm also going to get some cardio in and maybe a bit of endurance training. But I don't want to exhaust my body and I feel it deserves a break. Maybe not? I'm not too sure about this.

    • 2.25 mile run (fast pace) included with 2 x 100 meter sprints. Each sprint is followed by 20 push ups.
    • Then after that 5 x 100 meter sprints.
    • Push ups - 18 - 18 - 20 - 20 - 14 - 14 - 16 - 31

I know the numbers for push ups are a bit odd. But that is because I followed a push up program that tells me what numbers to do and the last number is my max.

Can't wait till wrestling practice tomorrow!

I had wrestle-offs today. I wrestled some kid for 140 varsity, he was pretty good but I won. I won by a point. I was really gassed by the third period and the match was only 3 minutes long. But maybe because our match was at a ridiculous pace to the point where my coach said "fury!". lolz Basically it was really fast paced is what I'm getting at. But nonetheless I noted my weaknesses and now I know what I need to work on. And that is anaerobic endurance. So I just took some sprints in the park for that, and I will be taking sprints hopefully a few times a week.

I have gained confidence in my explosivness, bottom position, sprawling, and in my technique. I am explosive and fast on my feet and on the ground. I am really good in bottom position. And my technique isn't too shabby at all. But I've also lost a bit of confidence. One would be in my gas tank, which I am training for. Another would be top position.

I have a tournament in my school on sunday (varsity). But I also have to attend the JV tournament in my school on saturday. Wish me best of luck!
