this is gonna be my 2nd year wrestling in high school im in 10th grade
im wrestling the same weight last year, last year i was 108 and now im 114-115 dropping to 12, ive never dropped weight so any tips or just cut fat, im very skinny and i dont have that much fat on me.
also after weigh ins what should i eat/drink cuz ive had matches were ive had a pb and j and a bottle of watter and i was gagging it up by the 3rd round and 3rd cardio
right now im doing interval training for 20min excluding the 5min warmup/cooldown....im doing it at 4mph 1min/9mph 1 min....is that good for high school wrestling and if not, how much should i increase the sprinting at to be really in shape and know im good to go with cardio and yes im lifting weights before i run

First I would advise you to not worry so much about your weight. If you're a sophomore then you're still growing. You might find it easier to hit the gym hard and gain 4-5 pounds of muscle and wrestle at 119 than to drop 2-3 pounds.

As to what you eat after weigh ins, what do you normally eat during the season, not on tournament days? I would think that water and pbj wouldn't sit in your stomach like that but maybe an apple/orange/banana, bagel and some jerky or chicken would be better, keep mixing it up a little bit to see what works best for you, just don't gorge yourself.

Why do you want to wrestle 112 instead of 119?

generally speaking, intervals should resemble the things you're training for. 1 min off/1 min on is not a particularly accurate representation of a match. while no matches are like, you are much more likely to see matches occur in short bursts followed by short periods of rest. so maybe bringing it down to 20s off/20s on would be better. just wrestling more will help improve your conditioning, as all other conditioning is supplemental.

regarding weight, if you're only in tenth grade, you should let your body grow. in the off season, bulking up is something you should consider. for now, it wouldn't hurt wrestling up at 119. you'll be much more concerned with your wrestling than cutting weight, and your body would perform much better. if you did wrestle up, conditionings problems may arise because you are wrestling against heavier competition, but that is easily remedied by simply wrestling heaver kids at practice.

rest hard, eat hard, train hard, and good luck.

well to both of the above posts, i want to go 112 because theres gonna be about 3 kids fighting for the varsity spot at 119 and the only person that can go 112 would have to drop about 10 pounds which i dont think hes going to do and also im not sure but i have a theory that since my school isnt the best and we probally will have 1 or mabye 2 weights open my coach will bump people up and we only have 1 96 pounder that will wrestle 103.....also is it bad about 2-3 hours before practice to have a chicken sandwhich for lunch or should i bring my own lunch in
