OK so here we go. I came to the screaching realization this summer when I tried to climb Mt Adams that I was incredibly fat and out of shape. Now I'm off to get in shape. I'll start off with simple running The past week was 3 days of 2 miles each with pushups, crunches, squat thrusts (25 each) before and after my run. The goal: Not necessarily to lose weight, at least not right now but rather to get in good enough shape to run/jog for 50 min. |

It's been a while since I posted but I've been doing 2-3 mile runs with 50/50/50 before and/or after. I'm going to start working in some plyometrics. Namely Ladder running and box jumping. This morning was a short (it was cold and I didn't take my gloves) run probably 2 miles or less. I plan on going out again this afternoon for an anerobic workout. 8X400 yards with an equal amount of rest between each. |
