    415 is a 5 lb PR for a triple, but it was tough. These felt heavy through out so I decided to take the PR and cut things even though I technically still had a set remaining.

    These were alright, would have liked to have gotten up to around 9 or so for the AMRAP set.

    Ring Dips
    12, 12, 8

    Would have had 12 again on the last set, but I had decided to do a muscle up into the higher rings on the last one and I got swinging back and forth too much.

    Starting second cycle of Wendler here. Would have liked to get 10 on the last set just because its a nice round number, but I can't be too unhappy with this.

    AMRAP 15

    10 Toes to Bar
    10 Box Jumps 24"

    9 Rounds + 1 Toe to Bar

    Very happy with this, especially with the fact that toes to bar were in the workout.

    Flew through the wall balls and box jumps unbroken and fast every round. Toes to bar were just a battle from round 2 onward.

    Played around with some form tweaks today while the weight was light. Absolutely crushed the rep that I made at 260. Practically power cleaned it. Had the second attempt at 270 racked, but was too far forward and lost it. Had the fifth attempt at 270 racked but I didn't catch a bounce and it pinned me at the bottom which given the fact that my 1RM front squat is 330 should never ever happen.

    Not a great day, but not a day I'm going to be disappointed about either. As nice as it was earlier in the summer to seemingly hit a new PR every time I did this lift I know that isn't how it works.

    Still not a great time, but its a PR by about 1:30 from when I did it back this winter.

    Did a much better job this time of stringing cleans together. Ring dips weren't what I hoped they'd be, but triceps are still a little blown up from the push ups on Thursday.

    I'm alright with this. Rounds 1-4 of the thrusters were unbroken, failed on the last round with 2 reps left because I was rushing to try and go sub 14:00.

    Runs were as quick as I could make them without leaving myself burnt out coming in for the barbell.

    Didn't really like these. Don't know if I was doing them wrong, but I felt like I was just pulling with my arms and that runs completely counter intuitive to the technique that I've been drilling myself with since last winter.

    These were OK. Figured I'd put my biggest number up here and I did in matching my 3RM from the hang. Banged the heck out of my hip crease attempting a third rep with 165. That didn't feel good.

    Was an interesting stimulus overall today. Very different from the just singles that I've been doing for the past six months or so.

    Just shy of the 7 rounds that I was shooting for here. Absolutely flying when I started off but things slowed down quite a bit. I still really suck at doing sit ups fast.

    Spent 15-20 minutes before the workout got going playing around with rope climbs, pistols, double unders, ring dips, and L-Sits.

    Knew this was going to be a good workout for me as soon as it was released, wound up finishing 5th overall here.

    Other than a no rep on my last deadlift for dropping from the top and hesitating a few times in my first round of box jumps everything was unbroken and quick. Goal coming in was sub 3:30.

    WOD 2 (15:00 Cap)
    5 Rounds
    5 Squat Clean Thrusters @95
    10 Burpees over Bar

    AMRAP rest of time
    Overhead Squat @95 (5 burpees each time you drop the bar)

    57 Overhead Squats

    This was tough, much tougher than I thought it was going to be, finished 5th here as well though.

    Goal was to do the first 5 rounds in about 7:00 and I hit that goal to almost the second. Rolling through those overhead squats though was just tough. Goal was to get to 60 and had a shot but was rushing at the end and dropped the bar with about :15 to go.

    All in all today was a lot of fun, third one of these that I've competed in. The two 5th place finishes left me in a three way tie for 4th overall. Key is going to be building off this to where I'm able to compete well in events that contain things that don't favor me as much as the workouts today did.
