    PR by eight reps.

    Coming in the goal was to finish at least 16 rounds, so I definitely would have liked to perform a little better here.

    On the other hand I PR'd and I didn't rip my hands, O I can still feel alright about this.

    8 Rounds + 9 Pull Ups

    PR by 24 reps. Pretty surprised by this, came in feeling pretty beat up from the last few workouts. Handstand push ups and pistols were quick, pull ups were a battle.

    260x0 (Just not mentally prepared, barely got it off my shoulders)
    260x0 (Lost it out front, good fundamentals otherwise)

    255 tied my PR, limiting factor in this movement continues to the jerk. If I can get it overhead I know I can squat it. Wanted to do something else, but groin was feeling kind of tweaked.

    Just kind of "meh" about today...

    This should have been quicker, finished Round 6's wall balls right at about the 5:00 mark but came off the bar way too many times on the last two rounds and wound up getting caught by someone I was working out with.

    Did get pistols without holding my foot for the first time during my warm up, so that's something to take away.

    Made a few technical adjustments from what I was doing on Sunday and the weights really started moving overhead nicely.

    260 was a 5 lb PR and easily the best feeling rep of the day, just really stuck it nicely. Wish I'd brought my camera today.

    Practice run through today of the first sectional workout in anticipation of Saturday which will be Game Day. Was (and still am and will be) shooting for five rounds, but my DU's decided to have one of their REALLY bad days.

    Just have to work on being more efficient in anticipation of Saturday. Finished round 3 at about the 8:00 mark (still well behind the pace that I wanted to be at) but was just completely blown up.

    Got some work to do...

    Worse than Wednesday...

    Very frustrating.

    Not because I really harbored any illusions of qualifying for regionals, but just because my performance the two times that I did this workout still fell well short of my expectations.

    Similar to the squats on Thursday I needed a good performance here after sucking on the Sectional WOD, and I got one. Video of the two attempts at 255.

    Got what I wanted here, finished the 5th round at about 9:50 but failed on two chest to bars in that last ten seconds.

    Figure this was a good combo to prep for two movements that I'm not super good at (chest to bars and ring dips) that may pop up in the sectional workouts
