Default Welcome to TheWrestlingTalk.com/Rules

Welcome to the forum, both old members and new members. Rules are a work in progress, here are some for now.

1. Keep personal attacks on both fellow posters and athletes to a minimum. I'm well aware people can get a little steamed, and things can get a little out of hand.
However, as I said keep it to a minimum

2. If you're going to start a thread calling out a random member of the wrestling world, keep it in mind that that person may possibly be a member here. A member who has brought more to the table than you, that I respect more than you, and that I like more than you.

3. Try to keep profanity to a minimum. I don't care if you toss in a damn, or a hell every once in a while to try and punctuate a point. I do it. But do try and avoid running around and constantly dropping f bombs.

4. Do your best to make your posts coherent to read. I know English isn't the first language of some posters who may come here and that is fine, but just try. Use proper grammar, spelling, and remember, punctuation, and paragraphs are your friends.

5. Stay on topic. Different boards are created for a reason.

6. New members, please don't sign up just to advertise your website, forum, blog, tournament, or anything else. If you sign up, and actually post for a while, and establish yourself, then advertising your stuff should be fine, as I'm perfectly fine with established members advertising their stuff just so long as they end their posts with "peace."

If you know what I'm talking about with the above sentence, then you're probably established.

7. This mostly applies to new people as well, as they are the usual ones that do it. There is no reason what so ever for you to put the exact same thread in multiple forums, all it does is clutter things up, and create work for Schlottke and myself. Put up one thread, I don't mind if you bump it now and again, and if people are interested, then they'll respond.

8. Most everything else for now I'm going to leave to poster's discretion. I expect most of you to be mature enough to know what is within the limits and what isn't.

9. Since I'm leaving a lot up to poster discretion ask yourself before you hit that "Reply" button "does this post bring something to the table"? If you can't answer yes to that question, perhaps you shouldn't hit that reply button

If you see a post going over the line, don't hesitate to use the redflag located on the sidebar of each post, that notifies any of our moderators who can respond to threads quickly.

Any other questions, comments, or concerns can be posted in the Site Suggestions forum, pm'd to me through the board, AIM'd to me at Jensen9287, or emailed to me at capedome at yahoo.com
