Default how do you unleash your killer/animal inside you?

My uncle taught me some stuff the other day and he said that half of wrestling is the mentality and half the actually wrestling. He said to try to unleash the killer/animal inside of you and get angry. Well normally i'm really a peaceful/calm/non violent guy so i'm trying to convert. Need tips to become a savage. (Locking me in a small cage and feeding me scraps of meat will not do. My brother who is in the marines said that would be the fastest way. )

haha, the cage probably wouldn't be a bad idea...

You don't need to get mean or violent, but you do need to walk out there with no respect (in a good way) or fear for your opponent. Being mean/angry/violent opens you up to making mistakes.. Having no fear allows you to attack your opponent without worrying about whether he is tougher, being hurt (legally), or more technically sound than you. The two (mean/without fear) are very similar, yet completely different in execution.

I always focused on a couple different things:

    - Don't waste a week of hard practice by wrestling soft.
    - Don't back down because people say he's tough- make him look weak... No matter how bad everyone else thinks he is- he is human. (Ask Darrion Caldwell)

It's a hard emotion to tap into, but sheer will and determination is what your gpap is talking about. you can actually feel it in your gut...I used to tap into it by pumping myself up...talking to myself and visualizing him moaning in pain as I hit a move. You'll need practice. It doesn't come easy.
