What are you looking to accomplish? Camps can do a lot for you, particularly if you are looking to increase your technical ability. If you want conditioning, I would suggest you find a farm or construction job, if possible. Bust your a$$ swinging a shovel or bales of hay for a summer - give the boss his dollars worth - and you will be in the best condition of your life by the time school starts. HARD physical labor conditions better than any gym program.
Depends what camp you go to. Penn State's camps are pretty tough. I suggest the takedown camp as if you can take anyone down you should win every match. Plus this camp is tough! Lots of live wrestling 3 times a day all on your feet, with the Penn State wrestlers getting on you if you aren't aggresive enough. In addition to the wrestling there are morning runs and evening lifts to get more in as possible.
Plus the food there is just really good....
