    Grab the elbow.

Grab up high on his tricep, it gives you more control than you would have if you grab lower on the arm.

Don't post, he's getting the 2 on 1 because you're posting your hand on his shoulder or something. your best defense is to not get into that position at all, you don't reach he doesn't do it its that simple.

My coach always taught us to post on the head when we get russain'd, and it's always worked for me.

Just remember that when you're reaching to post on the head he can lift the russian up and pop your free arm up opening a pretty easy double..

I've never had anyone hit a double on me after that. I always manage to sprawl out quickly.

You're not wrestling the right guy then- it will definitely happen if you're posting too often.

Grabbing the far arm (the arm controlling your wrist) like Jensen said is the best bet. I would suggest grabbing just above the elbow. It squares you up and doesn't offer as much of an opening.

After you pull the far arm towards you, you should free your wrist to where you can advance into an underhook... Try to immediately throw him by or hitting a pick from the underhook.
