Any idea on the time during the day?

At 2am we start a series of tasks that can bog the site down, so it makes sense that a newer user would be locked out to maintain the servers integrity (just how it works here). If the failure to connect continues for more than 10 minutes or gets significantly worse let us know right away.

I've been experiencing this fairly often lately also. It has happened during the day, early and late evening. I'm not usually up at 2 a.m. (I'm in the Central time zone), so I'm pretty sure I haven't experienced it then.

The only time it actually made me cuss at my computer was when I achieved a personal best score in Klondike Solitaire and it didn't get recorded. But that says more about me than about the site.
