There’s good news and bad news about the opening of the highly anticipated “Foxcatcher” movie about wrestling brothers Mark and Dave Schultz, announced for Dec. 20.

“Ok. I need to make one correction,” Schultz wrote on Facebook Friday. “It's true the film will be released Dec 20 and that's true but only for New York and LA. The worldwide release is in early January. No specific date yet.”

Now, some good news: “Foxcatcher” will make its debut at the AFI Fest in Hollywood on Nov. 8, the American Film Institute announced Thursday.
