Lehigh sports says 6th place as well. Comparing him to Storley - apparently is is better to medical forfeit than lose.

I too was a little surprised by Storley's tumble, but then again, it seemed that there was a strong group near the top. He had probably beat most of them once, so now he picked up a couple losses to them late in the season. That makes them eve, and he lost later in the season. I guess I understand putting him down there. He is certainly a dangerous seed where he is now...

You're probably right. I was thinking that as I posted, because if you def in semis you usually default all the way to 6th. I just thought I saw somehow that it was 4th. Don't have the results to check.

Storleys troubles at Big 10 were not about the depth of 174. It was all about him not being close to 100%.

Storley could have defaulted all the way to 8th place actually and would still be dancing in Des Moines next week.

However, and with that said, he's my pick to win it at 174.

The NCAA selection committee just screwed the Gophers on seeding.

I actually don't like Storley's seed but his draw seems about right. He would have had to go through all these guys anyway and I think he has the ability to get to the finals.

Your team has an excellent opportunity of significantly bettering their seeds!
