    Default Iowa vs Illinois Dual

How do you see some of the match-ups coming out here? Here are my picks:

125 #1 McD vs #5 Delgado McD Dec 3-0 Iowa
    133 #2 Ramos vs #10 Thomas Ramos MD 7-0
141 #8 Ballweg vs UR Rodrigues Ballweg MD 11-0
149 UR Kelly vs UR Ervin Kelly Dec 14-0
157 #1 DSJ vs UR Arlis DSJ MD 18-0
    165 #13 Moore vs #8 Polz Polz Dec 18-3
174 #4 Evans vs #8 Blanton Blanton Dec 18-6 (I'm going with the upset here)
    184 #14 Lofthouse vs #20 Dallago Loft Dec 21-6
197 #19 Burak vs #15 Gonzalez Burak Dec 24-6 (upset by rankings, but I'm not sure this is an upset)
Hwt #6 Telford vs UR Lopez Telford MD 28-6

Also, the Iowa vs Nebraska dual on Sunday has some intereting match-ups. How do you pick'em?

157 #1 DSJ vs #6 Green I'll go out on a limb here and pick Green in the upset (if his lungs can last 7 min!)
174 #4 Evans vs #2 Kokesh This should be a great bout. I'm picking Kokesh here--he's looked awfully tough this year!
184 #14 Lofthouse vs #8 Ihnen Picking Ihnen here.

Nebraska should win at 149, so they could win 3 or 4 weights.

IL- Polz and Gonzalez are favored, Ervin and Dallego are tossups, Delgado a slight dog.

NE- After Sueflohn gets through punishing Kelly Iowa will be rethinking this weight, Ihnen wins, either Green & Kokesh will win, Kolb and Johnson will push their guys.

    I just don't see it...David Thorn is not elite. I don't think he'll place"

I like Nebraska to win 3 weights vs Iowa, 149,174, & 184. 157 is possible, 141 not outside the realm of possibilities. I'll say 25-9.

Ervin, Polz, and Gonzalez win for Illinois against Iowa.

Ihnen wins for Nebraska in the matches that you've sketched out.

Shane--You don't think Sueflohn beats Kelly?

Note: Aah, I get it--that match wasn't "sketched out". I expect you would pick Sueflohn.

Despite how Evans absolutely crushed him last year, I still think Kokesh wins this week. I really think he's wrestled better than anyone at 174 this year, including storley and Perry.

Question to the panel - is there anyone in Illinois lineup at 174-HWT that you would say is better or even as good as they were last season? Seems like nobody in the upper weights has progressed at all this year. I'm an Illinois fan and they certainly aren't doing a bad job, but it seems like none of the upperweights have made that next step.

no-Blanton is doing more of the same , dallago was supposed to break out this year yet hasn't , Gonzo is 8-4 ? Hwt lopez is trying , yet way outclassed in a brutal division .
