    Default PSU v Illinois Dual

Off to a crazy start, Megaludis down 3-2 gets the fall from neutral in the third. Apparently got him stacked without the takedown being complete. Someone HAS to post that video...

I read that Gingrich is battling the flu. I'm not sure that this reflects a change in who holds the spot. Final score 37-0!! When was the last time that a top 10 team got shut out?

We knew going in to both duals, that PSU DID NOT match-up well with Iowa and we DID match up well with Ill. I think it also made a difference that there were 15,000 at CHA and only 1,500 at Illinois. CHA is a tough place to wrestle. I don't think it negatively impacted the PSU wrestlers, but I think it sure did give a boost to the Iowa guys. They came to wrestle!! (I'm mixing duals I realize)

Illinois has a solid team just a terrible matchup with PSU (as is most)

That same Illinois team only lost to Minnesota 18-14. In that dual Storley beat Blanton 6-5 and some TWT observers said that Blanton got shafted. In addition Schilling beat then #5 Gonzalez that night.
