INDIANAPOLIS - A large winter storm will make its mark across central Indiana beginning late Christmas night through the day on Wednesday.
A blizzard warning has been issued for most of the region to begin early Wednesday morning, with snow to be accompanied by wind gusts to 40 mph.

Accumulation of 8 to 12 inches of snow is expected in the Indianapolis area and about 50 miles north or south of a line from Vincennes to Shelbyville to Winchester.
A strong low-pressure system will track south of Indiana, keeping cooler air in place that should keep all of the precipitation as snow in the Indianapolis area.
South of Indianapolis, there is a chance that some sleet and/or freezing rain could mix in, keeping snowfall totals down.
Snowfall totals will also be lower in the Lafayette area, where 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected.
Gusty winds will blow whatever snow falls around quite a bit. Winds are expected to gust to up to 40 mph in the warned area.
Snow will begin to taper off on Wednesday night, but road conditions are expected to be treacherous.

You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

I heard this on the radio on my way home. And I was all butt-hurt about the light rains we have had the last couple of days keeping me from the dog park. It was really, really cold this morning, though. Down to 45 degrees as I drove to work.
