Is it really that close? THat's an entire extra Olympic cycle of medals for Big Bruce. Not an extra cycle of wrestling, but MEDALS. I think Taymazov's absolute best is probably better than Big Bruce, but Bruce's career is more decorated.

I actually just went and looked and you have to put Bruce in front of Taymazov at least for the time being. Bruce had more Golds that I thought he did.

He's got the edge in overall medals (13 for him compared to 9 for Taymazov) and they're actually tied in number of Golds (both have 5).

Taymazov not wrestling in 02, 05, and 09 and his sub par performance in 2011 slots him into that 3rd spot behind Medved and Bruce right now.

    Zapp,
If you ever talk that way about Big Bruce again, I will find ways for him to crush your skull by simply flexing his calves.

Bruce = Lemmy = you know the rest!

(Ok, my lame attempt at humor isn't so great this time of night. Baumgartner and McCoy are my two favorite wrestlers of all time).

Hopefully it works out better for him than it did Mavlet Batirov

Since we dont currently have much promise at 66kg and a good deal of hope at 60, Im not going to complain about the move up. Opens up 60 a lot.

Man, I was really hoping to see some re-matches between Asgarov and Stieber.

Asgarov - Tagavi/Yonimatsu, will be more fun to watch.
