I wouldn't worry I can't imagine anyone choosing Sheikov, Varner or Balci. Except for a joke.

2011 World Wrestling Championships Freestyle 96 kg Reza Yazdani Iran v Ruslan Sheikhau BLR Quarterfinals - YouTube Sheikov/Yazdani. That was too close in the 2nd round! I love that single leg throw Yazdani does, he's hit it on Varner and Balci as well. Just incredible.

The snatch single he lifts like no other, his body type helps a lot with that, just a tank, i hope he wins he is a true pahlevan, always nice to his opponents when the match isn't on, but i can't help but think with it being the olympics and gadisov being so consistent and russia owning 96/100 at the olympics for a while, that an iranian will come through, personally i think russia will win a medal in all 7 weights again, just by talent level consistency and control of officials.
It wouldn't suprise me if yazdani loses in the quarters to tigiev or gogshelidze type.

Lol but everyone knows deep down, that the best wrestler didn't win today, I still say gazyumov, yazdani, gadisov, muradov, gatsalov, akhmedov, saidov etc are better just luck of the draw.

Paper doesn't wrestle. Who says Yazdani would have won? Varner won and deservedly so.

Congratulations from Canada, Jake Varner. You were a machine today.
