Washington junior Dylan Reel?s (HM @ 160) dream of becoming the 12th Illinois wrestler to win four state championships came to an end Saturday at the Class 2A individual finals at Assembly Hall in Champaign.

Lombard Montini senior Dmitri Willis scored a takedown in the final second of sudden death overtime to stun the Panther two-time state champ, 3-1 in the 160-pound semifinals.

Reel came back to win in wrestlebacks and will join teammates Brandon Rice (135) and Colton Gladwell (140) in going after third place medals. LaSalle-Peru senior Jason Huebbe lost a* 3-1 decision to Lombard Montini?s Ross Ferraro in the semifinals, but will wrestling for third also after pinning Richmond?s Zach Boettier in wrestebacks.
