Yes, we all know what a definitive grasp you have of the olympic redshirt process.

Obviously feel awful for Howe if this winds up being the case. Luckily he still has his normal RS that he's able to use.
I'm not the whiny douche bag right?

'us66' is Coach Frayer on the Sconny board. I suspect that he will come on and either confirm or deny the truth of this rumour. He......and Coach Davis...are very open about the status of the team and its individual Just a pulled hammy is a painful injury that can take 6 weeks to completely heal..........I can'm imagine the rehab process for a torn hammy.

    Poor Andrew........

This sucks on many levels if true. Sucks for wrestling fans as we will not get to see rematches with JB this year at least. These two offered the best two guys in a class. I think AH may have gotten him once. Sucks for our international teams, removes a top wrestler and reduces overall comp. for the team spot.
Most of all, sucks for AH and will be a tough injury to come back from.

    Tim,
This is MUCH more than a torn hamstring-IF-it is completely torn off the bone it will have to be surgically re-attached-he will NOT be able to use that leg for 3-6 months and then begin the rehab. This is too terrible to be true and I actually prayed to a non existent God last night that it was just a tear-this will set Howe back over a year-looking at 2013 before he wrestles for Wiscy again .

Howe was wreslting Polzen, a 50/50 wrestler on Sunday afternoon when he grimaced...Barry, knowing how tough AH is immediately stopped the match and MFed it. The blogger who certainly means well but doesn't know much about wrestling thought that it was a 'cramp'. Barry has explained that he knew that it was an injurey and that AH
would want to continue but would not let him....he is a GREAT friend to his kids besides being an outstanding coach.
BTW, when asked who he had in the wrestling room who he had to replace AH, Barry mentioned Donny Pritzlaff!

It's Conrad Polz, not Polzen. Polzen is a river in the Czech Republic.
