@ the time Gage was offering me Howe & Drouin for Schlatter & Jones. Sometimes he would throw in Glasser or Lapotsky & want Escobedo too!

That would have left me with Keegan Davis as my 57 back up being my starter. I wanted someone to replace Blanton & got Glasser. Gave up Jones to do that but looks like Droin beat Jone sout @ the P10s. That worked out for me BUT with DS going out that just about sealed the deal to knock me out.

I thought that Ellis would at least get 2nd @ B12s & that would have been 13 points. I was counting on 24 from Schlatter. I thought that Beatty would go out on a Med Def but I took that chance of putting him as I knew he had a better chance to win instead of Lapotsky @ 97 in the B12s.

All real LOGIC choices that back fired.

Kinda like having Peyton Manning & Reggie Wayne going out with injury SB week & then Addai being held for 3 yards rushing. Sort of like Favre & Harvin being injured & Petersen being held to nothing... well you get the idea.

If anyone could have predicted that, well I would say move to Vegas...

Doesn't sound too crazy to me. 165 is a tougher weight than 157.

except for the fact that schlatter is a massive flake who has done worse every year of folkstyle competition(not to mention hurt 60% of the year) and Howe has looked pretty close to unbeatable.

Doesn't matter how good the weight is if you're better than everyone. Also doesn't matter how mediocre the weight is if about 10 different guys on a given day could beat you.

I thought that Schlatter & Vallimont was better then Davis & Howe. Apparently for THAT week I was wrong.

It was a brutal way for your season to end.

However, expecting Ellis to get 2nd is just silly. He's wrestled Z like 8 times and won ZERO times. To expect him to beat Zabriskie was a stretch.

Actually looking at from a seeding stand point you are probably right. I was thinking that his matches with Rosholt were close & that maybe he could finally pull one out.

Even so you would think that he would have at least given me 3 points. I should have probably gone with Delaney as the 285 & Blanton as my flex. He scored 9 points. If Beatty would performed as expected I should have had @ least 19 points from him. Hindsight = 20/20.

If Gold wins he can give me half the prize....
