Nice job on a personal best. Keep moving that steel, my friend.

Appreciate it. If the end of my Snatch (I'm well aware how much I set myself up with this bad boy) ever acquires any semblance of technique then I think that weight should shoot up even more.

The snatch was the hard part of the PR, the 3 reps went pretty easily.

    4x8 1 Arm DB Snatches @45
    3x10 Chest supported T-bar rows @115
    5x5 Pull ups

In and out quick today. 45 feels like a good weight for the DB snatches.

If you have access to them, try a 20kg (44lb) k-bell for you snatches. I think that the movement flows better with the k-bell. Just my opinion.

I imagine it does, but as of right now I don't have access to k-bells. Wish I did.

is that 4x8 db snatch for each arm(total 8 sets), or 2x8 right, 2x8 left?

i've snatched with my kbell and broke my watch lens twice. it was 90 bucks to replace the first time. now it's sitting and i'm watchless.

i find it hard to snatch the kbell, i don't know if i should let if flip over the top or to "come around" the hand, so to speak. i also like snatching my dumbell better cause i pull it from the ground with each rep rather than swinging it between the legs.

long question short, what is your technique for snatching?
but then again, i may be retarded
