Default Will Obama be held accountable?

In a recent ad by Mit or a Mit supporter they showed footage of Obama promising to cut the deficit in half, in his first term. I dont know why more of his supporters aren't looking at his record and wondering what happened. He has not only failed to do this but he has increased the deficit. Will he be held accountable for this.

And dont tell me it was out of his control, he has the veto power. I realize his control is limited, but if you cant keep your promises then dont make them.

    1. Regressives didn't hold George C- Bush accountable either when he inherited a surplus and turned it into trillions of dollars in debt.

    2. If we're going to talk about "voting our principles," I sure see a hell of a lot of Tea Party supporters voting for Willard Mitt Romney, gubment health care advocate.

Ban what do you have to say about Obama? Since he is the one running for election. I think that we've talked enough about Bush. Let's talk about the current race and not rehash an election that is 8 years old.

The answer to your question, Ugly, is no he won't be held accountable. Liberals have perfected the art of deflecting the question and answering a question never asked while at the same time asking a different question. The whole point of that is to get you to not focus on the original question that they don't have a good answer to. Listen to an interview with that Wasserman lady. She doesn't even come close to answering a question.

Ban I guess I need to point out for the millionth time that I did not vote for Bush nor did I like Bush, and I agree with Snackem could you ever actually comment on Obama without crying Bush. You cant because you know that Obama is a failure as a president.

When it comes to Romney I dont mind voting for him because of his health care he implemented in Mass. It is a states issue and the states should do as they wish. See there is a difference between the national and federal government.

I don't usually get involved in political debates because I'm not real savvy in that field, but I do believe that a discussion of the Bush administration is valid because even if Obama was unable to make good on some of his promises, many of the problems he inherited were the result of Republican endorsed policies. It seems to this naive observer that if a Bush or Reagan did it, Republicans say that it was by definition the right thing to do, but if Obama does it (possibly the exact same thing), he's a moron. Both parties are guilty of this hypocricy, and people will believe what they want to believe regardless of the facts.
