Big congratulations to your son.
Excellent read and I might add a significantly better version than what I'd be able to offer at this point after what has been a very busy and eventful summer.
Need to get my head in and get a...
Always enjoy reading these, cool to see some (semi) less heralded guys get shout outs ala Nevinger in the first category.
Glad to hear from you again buddy. Appreciate the Facebook kudos yesterday as well.
I've been very busy with a lot of things this summer, but its definitely in my intentions to sit down and bang out a set of these especially given that I didn't get the chance to in the middle of the...
Yes indeed, said Iowa was never really in picture.
Interesting to see England make the jump from Iowa State to Missouri.
Indeed. Wish Ben the best of luck, always admired what he was able to accomplish during his career despite the lack of AA finish.
He wasn't even supposed to start.
Shame to see that Scott got hurt...
Very interested to see what goes down in the Burroughs/Dake matches tonight. Much like the Open when he wrestled Taylor, Burroughs is the obvious favorite.
I can see the pluses and minuses of either argument here. As far as putting into practice, why not?
Like others have said I like the idea of finding a blend between strong dual teams and teams...
Always enjoy taking a look in to see which college guys are here, seem to be a solid number this year.
55: Zach Sanders v. Nico Megaludis
60: Tyler Graff v. Cashe Quiroga
63: Sam Sherlock v....
Didn't get a chance to see it (will have to rewatch later) but Twitter blew up about how Stieber beat the #1 ranked guy in the world at the BTS event today.
While the "old way" had its issues, that was always such a fun tournament to watch (being there in 09 is still a personal highlight for me despite Minnesota's sub par performance).
Whether they do...
Seems like (at least perception wise) that things would be the other way. Had to figure that Bloom would have more than that.
Great thread idea, had been waiting to get into this thread for a while since I'd seen it. I'm going to abstain from placing Hunter because he's the only guy on the list that I've never seen.
There are things that can be changed but in my mind, this isn't going to lead to...
This. In fact, quite the opposite.
Of the three freestyle weights last night, only guy who won who I expected was Gavin.
Oddly I think I'm less surprised about Bradley over Tervel than I am Russell over Oliver.
I don't disagree.
But if he's absolutely killing himself to make 149 you'd figure that he balloons up after the season a little quicker, at least that would be my perception.
Actually just went and saw that. I'm curiously not that surprised.
Ness tweeted a couple of days after NCAA's that he was only up to like 155 or 157 (don't recall) he hadn't really gained a large amount of weight.
Pretty sure Heflin was interviewed somewhere (maybe on Flo) saying he was done cutting weight and was indeed going up to 197 next year.
My thought as well. The Burroughs factor coming through again.
Was trying to track down the 4x AA list that I try and update each year, both to see how many guys were 4x'ers each year and how many have a chance to do it the following.
So next year it looks...
