Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Who is that? It isn't the finacially busted USA leader that bows to other leaders and kisses everyone's butt.

I've read this criticism elsewhere and it really pisses me off. A bow in some cultures is like a handshake. It's a sign of courtesy and respect, not of subservience. I'm proud that my leader conducts himself like a gentleman and respects the customs of other world leaders. Since Obama has replaced the pompous buffoon that preceeded him, the image of the USA has soared in the eyes of the world. This is essential in defining the good guys and the bad guys and achieving the world harmony to which we aspire

    1. He wasn't in the Far East where bowing is customary.

    2. If it was customary, then why did his staff admantly say that he wasn't bowing. They went out of their way to defend his actions. Doesn't make sense if actions were appropiate.

They are enjoying their "freak show". Other than that, nothing has changed. We are not getting better cooperation and we certainly are not safer.

What does the rest of the world do to prevent terrorism?

It's pretty clear the world is pleased for the most part, and so far, at Obama's ascendance to the presidency. There is not much to be done about the 20 percent or so of Americans who wallow in ignorance of things they don't understand and fear of those who are different than them.
