If this all proves true and a major factor for us in Iraq I cant see how we could avoid a conflict with Iran.

Most Americans are not realizing that Iraqi leadership came from Iran. They might not show it Openly now because they need American financial and military support but Iraq is basically an Iranian Province now.

What are you going to do with your war? What are you going to kill a couple of million Iranians and many American soldiers? For what?

Our military is streached to the breaking point fighting on two fronts. Adding a third could cause a collapse of all three fronts. Hopefully saner heads will prevail.

We need to stop thinking of the Iraqi war as a war with the country of Iraq and see it is just a front in the west's war with Islamic extremism that really kicked off with the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran. (if not before)

I saw him deliver this speech on TV and I feel really cemented my views of our involvement in Iraq.

There was no Islamic extremism in Iraq. Saddam's regime was secular.

The bottom line is, if Iran is directly funding these people to kill American troops in Iraq I dont see how war can be avoided. Perhaps a small conflict not a full on war. We can not afford to have this info and do nothing, it would weaken our image in that area of the world. I dont want a war but something has to be done.
