Why should it be a disappointment? It should have been great rejoicing since there was no danger for America in Iraq.

This just proves that Bush and Powell were just looking for an excuse to commit atrocities.

They never cared if America was really in danger or not.

I understand if he said "we felt perplexed, confused, or humiliated" but "disappointed"?

That makes him sound like Osama Bin Laden. Its like saying “We were disappointed Iran didn’t have nuclear weapons to wipe out Israel”.
