Sully is right. We're left with what we had, a broken system that furthers no one's goals, except perhaps the provocateurs of talk radio, who are loath to lose their punching bag. - clone

You do love those talk radio people, they must be doing this country a great service.

    100% close the boaders

Steep fines for employers hiring illegals

All criminal illegals - instant deportation

    Pretty simple, isn't it?

No need to arrange massive deportation if they can't get a job or want to go home to see mom sooner or later.

    "100% close the boaders"
-No way is this even remotely feasible, do you have any idea how many miles of boarder we actually have? We can't even close off a few city blocks in downtown baghdad.

"Steep fines for employers hiring illegals"
-Do they still get fined if they hire people with realistic fake ID's? cause if so how do this not mandate discrimination against hispanics?

"All criminal illegals - instant deportation"
-Since everyone in this country is supposedly innocent until proven guilty they would need a trial or some sort of process to prove they are "criminal illegals". The deportation process wouldn't really speed up at all.
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

ctc - Forget your profiling "race card", we are talking about illegals - even if they are blue.
Tamperproof ID's can be made. ICE or court will decide how "real" they are.

All crimes require a court process anyway. No problemia.
