Default NYC Mayor Bloomberg favors socialism as he rejects Party system of America

?We have achieved real progress by overcoming the partisanship that too often puts narrow interests above the common good. As a political independent, I will continue to work with those in all political parties to find common ground, to put partisanship aside and to achieve real solutions to the challenges we face,? he said.

?Any successful elected executive knows that real results are more important than partisan battles and that good ideas should take precedence over rigid adherence to any particular political ideology. Working together, there s no limit to what we can do.'?

Big, yet again you post a title to a post that is not supported by the information in your post. The link that you provided also does not support you claim.

And yet again you make statements without explaining them.

My interpretation is that Republicans and Democrats each have their agendas while Bloomberg wants common goals and common good, precisely the ultimate goals of socialism.

Big, you have as the title of your topic "NYC Mayor Bloomberg favors socialism as he rejects Party system of America ". Then you made the statement in you post “We have achieved real progress by overcoming the partisanship that too often puts narrow interests above the common good. As a political independent, I will continue to work with those in all political parties to find common ground, to put partisanship aside and to achieve real solutions to the challenges we face,” he said.

“Any successful elected executive knows that real results are more important than partisan battles and that good ideas should take precedence over rigid adherence to any particular political ideology. Working together, there s no limit to what we can do.'’
Nothing in the body of your post supports your claim that NYC Mayor Bloomberg favors socialism.
The link you provided does not support that claim. In fact the link provides information to counter you claim.

This is the definition of socialism if not communism.

I disagree. My dictionary defines socialism as "NOUN:

Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved.

If Bloomberg puts narrow interests aside, aka big corporations, then people will get more power and hence will move closer to socialism.

Maybe, maybe not. That still does not change the fact that the statements in your first post and the link in that post do not support your title.
