Yes but humans by definition are fallible, otherwise they are not human.

What I mean is that unless God is taking their hand and actually writing the Word down, something's going to get f*cked up in the process, which is clear by simply reading the Bible.

And by saying that God wrote it is humanizing this Deity, which is a complete joke.

QS said, "Yes but humans by definition are fallible, otherwise they are not human."

A inadvertant example of an infallible pronouncement. It "proves" fallible people can make infallible pronouncements! This being so, why couldn't the Holy Ghost inspire fallible men to make infallible pronouncements?.

You must have some concept in your mind of God being a little old wimpy man that can hardly get around instead of Him being omnipotent. The Bible tells us that these men that wrote the Bible were "moved" by His spirit. Now if you don't think that an omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent God is incapable of safe guarding, directing, and ensuring His own Word - then just go on believing your "little old man upstairs" foolishness.

    Ugly,
The Ark is considered a "type" of Christ. The OT is really instruction into the person and work of Christ.

7: Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

39: Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
20: Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21: The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Right. Just like God is capable of making things happen that are not scientifically plausible. "We know this really doesn't make sense, but if God wanted it to happen, He would have made it happen. He is God afterall"

Must be nice to not do any real thinking for yourself. Genius.

Calm down single everyone is entitled to their belief and opinion. I believe the same thing and I think for myself we just do see eye to eye.

Ugly his post was condescending and called my opinion foolish. You don't tell him to calm down because you believe the same thing. If you can't see that then you shouldn't be a moderator here.
