Don't you think that a discipline like science should be able to prove its own global warming theory by its own standards? | There is such an abundance of evidence for global warming that requiring proof seems pointless. It is true that science requires faith in one's instruments, faith in one's observations, and faith in the ability to draw logical conclusions. But science relies on reproducable and indisputable data. Religion relies on faith in concepts that can not be proven or empirically demonstrated, and a very subjective interpretation of the data (eg: the complexity of the universe implies an intelligent design; the Bible is the word of God).

Are you trying to let us know you are part of that small group of Americans who hold the secret about global warming?

You need evidence to come to conclusions. Scientists are collecting evidence on global warming. Then if the evidence points to the earth warming up, does that mean the earth is irreversibly warming up, or is it just a natural temporary phase and the earth will cool down in the future.

Believe it or not there are many scientist that believe there is no global warming so the pendulum swings both ways.
On the topic at hand the Hospital needed to step in and help the kid, I mean they will let you have birth control or an abortion without parental consent. Some people take vaccination too far and as a result we damage our bodies ability to build our self defense system because we are dependent on medical anti-bodies. I stay away from the doctor as much as I can but take my kids for all of their vaccinations and I will go if I can not heal on my own after a week or two.

I agree I personally don't believe in the whole Global Warming and Gore's crusade.
There are thousands of top scientist out there that don't believe it is man made. The earth goes through cycles and we are going through one right now.
There are other planents in our solar system that are also getting warmer! Damn those alien SUV's!!!

The concensus is it is real, and the issue - while there is some residual debate to be sure - has pretty much moved on to various companies, corporations, cities, states, and countries, takingo an active stage of passing legislation to address what they see as a serious issue.

I completely agree the perception has become reality and because it has those in public office or business are running with it to stay ahead of the curve. Why cant this be the case in other areas of law where it would actually make a difference.
