Tell me something Big. What would your USSR have done to a country such as Iran if they had invaded their embassy and taken their diplomatic core hostage? I dare say it would have become a new R in the USSR.

In any case influencing Iran and or Iraq did not change anything. Tell that to the literal millions of soldiers who died in that war.

and this terrorism is a bigger threat to America than Soviet Union ever was. Well for once you make a valid point. I never really feared the USSR launching a nuke because they liked their jobs and didnt think they'd reach haven by doing so. However I dont think the terrorists could wipe the USA off the face of the earth as could your old buddies who DID have quite an arsenal the vast majority of which was pointed at US. And they did like throwing their weight around. Its definately a debateable point. And just to show you how magnanimous I really am, I'll conceed that personally anyway, I am slightly more worried about terrorists than I was the USSR.
