Default Obama/Clinton ticket is ideal, a victory!

An Obama-Clinton ticket would defeat a Republican one of McCain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by nine points, 51 percent to 42 percent, NBC said.

Also, racism still exists:

Among white men, who made up 36 percent of the electorate in the 2004 presidential election, McCain has a 20-point lead over Obama, 55 percent to 35 percent, NBC reported.

Obama as President would wound white men's pride.

I don't think either Romney or Hillary will be veeps. I think Hillary would have way too much attention focused on her to be an effective VP.

Throwby, not to get on your nuts, by why do you call Mitt "Romney" but Clinton "Hillary"?

There may be a little big of the fatigue factor here but I hope Obama's call for "change" includes selecting someone other than Clinton.

Big is it Racism when 90% + of African Americans will vote for Obama? I will agree, racism still exists, but not all white men who will be voting for McCain are racists.

With all due respect Furches, most African Americans are Democrats and compete with Hispanics for jobs. So, they would not vote for Hillary who is very much popular with Hispanics.

The Beast will require unprecidented authority for the position. It'll never happen. On the flip side, if she's remained in the race this long waiting for Obama to die, she'll take it and just wait a little longer.

Have you ever seen a campaign sign or bumper sticker for her that says "Clinton"? The only ones I have seen say "Hillary" so I guess that's just the name I associate with her campaign. I saw a couple more yesterday.

Would there be another more insidious reason?

How true, how true, however, after she dyes her hair in a rainbow pattern, receives a generous portion of body art and adorns her face with piercings she will undoubtedly be referred to as "Rodman Clinton"

It would be interesting to know if she blames Bill for her defeat. From all appearances it appears this has been a marriage of convenience. I wouldnt be suprized a bit if she goes back to Sen. Rodham-Clinton or even Sen. Rodham. But that will only come if she believes the White House is beyond reach.
