As reported by a local columnist. Interesting what he has to say--that Iraq was intended as a base of operations to secure the region (p.s. which is consistent with the New American Century strategy), and he said from day one that it could be like Korea.
His solution: "we have to forgo our territorial and imperial ambitions." That makes a lot of sense to me.
