Default No sensible person should ever take American politics seriously.....

American politics has become really ridiculous in a sense that it is a context of sound bites and finding phrases and slogans that can make American voters believe in certain foolish ideas. A sensible and logical argument can be cut and reworked to make a smart person look foolish.

There is nothing concrete about American politics and the money Presidential Candidates get for elections are fraught with corruption and bribery.

I would rather die than ever vote in American elections ever again. I am simply not willing to bring myself down to such ridiculously low level of understanding humanity.

THERE IS SIMPLY NO CLASS IN AMERICAN POLITICS!

I urge everyone to refuse to participate in elections as a message to politicians to get their act together and give high level performance during elections.

There need to be strict limits on funds, manner of expression, responsibility to say only truth about opponents and your own positions. Dishonesty should be strictly punished in a manner of disqualification of the candidates. Until then, see ya American politics. Its garbage!

So what? Republicans, for example, will just keep mentioning Edwards gets $400 haircuts and make him look stupid.

Big, you just joined the other 70% of Americans who also don't vote.

Why not do the opposite.....get out and vote and encourage as many people as you can to vote also. Educate yourself about the local elections and candidates and at least vote in those races. Do as I did and abstain in the presidential election, but still vote on the local, and state races. Those are the politicians most likely to actually affect your daily life anyway. Depending on your state, you can even write-in a candidate to vote for. Mickey Mouse always gets a few votes in every election.
