Wow CNN is a joke

I try to look at different sources both left leaning and right wing media outlets, but stuff like this drives me nuts.

This is the hard nosed reporting at CNN.

Didn't mention how Obama delievered an ugly speach in North Carolina when the teleprompter when down but they sure did mention this slip up.

Yesterday one of their headlines was: Obama black or biracial. Might not be exactly right but that was the jist of it.

You need to get out more often...or block the channel. No need to get a heart attack, especially since you will have many years ahead of you to deal with Obama.

The bottom line is that McCain is showing age big time. This is a valid concern. Should the leader of the free world have problems with confusion and appearance of weakness, well that whould definitely be very important to the voting public.

If I'm a republican and he is my candidate I would be very concerned about him, not how he's covered by the media.

What does having to deal with Obama for many years (even though that is decided yet) to do with terrible reporting from CNN?

I hate CNN for the "Hollywoodization" of the news. Right now in their "Latest News" column at the top of their website:

Victim or vixen? Views differ at R. Kelly trial
Alicia Keys: Let's not give up on Africa
Stuntman killed on John Woo movie set
Eastwood tells Spike Lee to 'shut his face'

Just put it in the Entertainment section and don't throw it out there like it's of national importance. How about a little more international news in the Latest News column?

In recent days, I've noticed how superfical and trashy yahoo's news page is (American Idol is a typical "top" story) and wish I could avoid it.

I think all the news/sports has gone that way. I heard a TV recap on the NBA Finals and they ended by telling you all the celebrity names that were there. I'll bet you really wanted to know that, didn't you? What a joke!
