The bottom line is she brought the negative coverage upon herself. The negative coverage is a consequence of the following actions:
- Making blatantly misleading claims that she was winning the popular vote.
- Trying to change the rules of the election under the disguise of "count every vote", despite the fact that she previously agreed that Florida and Michigan won't count, and even said "I don't think it will make a difference if my name is on the ballot or not. Michigan is not going to count for anything".
- Trying to paint a picture of her being the victim of sexism.
- Mudslinging against Obama while try to paint the picture the he was the mudslinger.
- The "Hillary math" that tried to calculate all the reasons why she has a better chance at beating McCain.
- Being a sore loser.
She got away with a lot of stuff before the media turned too negative on her, but eventually the media caught up with the public viewpoint. Sorry, I have lost all respect whatsoever for this woman.

On the issue of whether delegates should be seated my feeling is that Republicans have no say in the matter. I'm old enough to remember when conventions actually picked the candidates. If you think there are attempts at horsetrading now........

Are the workings of primaries even covered in the constitution? I ask because i keep hearing all this blather from rightwing radio about making sure that votes are counted. But what laws could be broken? I don't think any because it's the political party's call.

Outsiders can judge the party by their process, but from an historical perspective, to rail against one-person-one-vote for a PRESIDENTIAL primary is ridiculous, IMO.

Conversely, on some local levels, primaries are covered by law, especially when they don't run separate primaries for the parties. Such an election also bears the name "primary" but is really a different animal.
