Everyone should read the article linked below.

Because everyone thinks that anything or anyone that/who disagrees with their own political party and/or ideology today MUST be biased and have an ax to grind, an important tidbit about Bugliosi: He's a lifelong conservative republican. However, he is an attorney, and good and responsible ones know that thr rule of law prevails before ideology.

WAAAAAAAAAA!!! I didn't win. WAAAAAAAAAA! I want a do over. WAAAAAAAAAA. Old news. If the voters of Florida were really so stupid they couldn't figure out the ballot, we are probably better off NOT having their vote. In the meantime, the court did the best they could of a bad deal. That happens to mean that the Democrats lost. So, I suppose, that means we will have to listen to WAAAAAAAAAA, I didn't win. WAAAAAAAAAA for the next decade or so.

Winning at anycost. Great lesson to teach in history; regardless of the cost to our legal system.

Are you blind, ban?? LIBERALS (CNN, NY Times, etc) recounted ALL the votes and Bush STILL won! All the US Supreme Country ruling said was that you can't change ballot counting rules in midstream.

Regardless, the real will of the people of Florida was done and reflected in the 2000 decision -- independent and left-leaning vote counts prove it. If you're so concerned about possible disenfranchisement, why are you not more vocal about the DNC not allowing the votes of the people in Michigan and Florida be counted in their primaries?

I remember one of the big issues that came up were the ballots where no candidate was chosen. The media and the counters were all really surprised and were looking to see an indentation in the ballot to see "the intent" of the voter.

They failed to realize that there are many people (like me for instance) who will simply vote on local election candidates and issues, and abstain from voting in the presidential election since I refuse to choose between the lesser of two evils. If neither candidate earned my vote, then neither gets it. If my choices are between a douche and a turd sandwich, then I'll simply choose not to vote for either. For some reason some of the counters were actually making a choice for the voter if none of the candidates were clearly chosen. That's certainly unconstitutional, so I can see how if the USSC was privy to this info (and I'm certain that if I have that info, so did they) that they ruled how they did to stop the recount.

Again, the recount is irrelevant. Who cares aboutwho wins a recount when the vote counting was officially and legally stopped?

That is the ONLY fact that is relevant.

The FACT that ultimately, more people in Florida voted for Bush than Gore is irrelevant? In your world is suppose it is.

We don't know that. The count was legally stopped. Nothing else matters, as it is pure speculation.

Another vote for lawlessness and courts making up their own law.

Why did you find the necesity to come over to this site? I was explaining you to my wife the other day and she thought that it sounded weird. You had no interest in this site until I and others who you antagonize came over here. Now you act like its your favorite place.
