Looks like McCain's endorsing pastor beats Rev Right's remarks by far:

SAN JOSE—Senator John McCain rejected the endorsement on Thursday of the evangelical leader, the Rev. John C. Hagee, three stormy months after it was first announced as part of an effort to shore up Mr. McCain’s standing among Christian conservatives.

The rejection of Mr. Hagee’s endorsement occurred after another controversial sermon from the televangelist and pastor of Cornerstone, a mega-church in San Antonio, surfaced in which he argued that biblical verses made clear that Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust was part of God’s plan to chase the Jews from Europe and drive them to Palestine.

Now did McCain attend this pastor's services for 20 years? Did he attend any services where this Pastor preached?

Better yet: He was endorsed by this pastor, as well as publicly accepted his endorsement. Show us where this happened with Obama and Wright.

Even so, show us the worst that Wright said and show us where it compares to what this bigot has said about Jews, Catholics, and gays.

Yes he quickly accepted his endorsement because he thought it would help for political reasons. Yes he and his campaign didn't do their research like they should have. They even admitted it.

The difference between the two is that Obama listened to his pastor for 20 years and considered him a spiritual advisor. McCain accepted his endorsement (before he really knew him) for political reason. It was a stupid mistake.

The other problem I have is the title of the thread. He was never McCain's pastor.

Just as Wright is no longer Obama's pastor, nor is he still his spiritual advisor.

So, McCain is willing to fall in bed with a man who justifies Holocaust without trying to find out what he is all about just for political reasons.
