Lay it all on the line with Wright. I welcome it.

Please don't make outrageous claims without a source to back it up. Give a quote, time & date, and url.

Are you sure you want to hold yourself to that, too?

The rejection of Mr. Hagee’s endorsement occurred after another controversial sermon from the televangelist and pastor of Cornerstone, a mega-church in San Antonio, surfaced in which he argued that biblical verses made clear that Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust was part of God’s plan to chase the Jews from Europe and drive them to Palestine. http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2.../index.html?hp |
Unlike Wright.... Hagee was NEVER McCain's pastor, and you know that.
But because you know that Obasma cant explain why
* he's been going to the same nutcase hatemongering pastor for 20 years
* why he named that pastor his campaign's official Spiritual Advisor,
* used that pastor's own words for the title of his book,
* and asked that pastor to marry him and his wife
you seek to equate all that with a mere political endorsement.
Im sorry, but as they say... that dog wont hunt.

Would you raise your family in that environment? Would you consider the one who was speaking them your spiritual advisor? It seems to me that if Obama had signifcant problems with Black Liberation Theology as expressed through Rev. Wright he would have left Trinity long ago, but he didn't. That suggests to any thinking person that he was well aware of the theology being espoused by the church and bought into it. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
