Knight from Nike -He enjoys a lavish life style in America yet he farms all his jobs to the Phillipines -I say we make him go live in the Phillipines and pay a private army to protect him -same thing with Microsoft -send his punk ass to live in China . Why should they be allotted a safe and wonderful life when the triads would take all of Gates little toys . the Walton clan of WalMart fame ... the list just goes on and on -Can anyone tell me why Ivan Bosky and Neil Bush aren't in prison? Really , I would like to know .

normally i would agree with you but once these Trolls crossed the line by taking their jobs elsewhere they became a blight on society .
Perhaps a 'special' tax is called for here -an antiamerican tax -you want to live here but you make your millions through slave labor you pay 75 %in taxes . to help pay for S.S.,welfare etc.. Henry Ford was a miser yet he kept the jobs here and although they paid next to nothing at least a man had a reason to get out of bed and at least had a modicum of self respect .

Very simple, in my opinion. Make them economically liable for any major problems that arise in areas where they lay-off workers. Violence, alcoholism, suicides, families torn apart, etc.

Flint, Michigan is a perfect example of a place that needed some type of compensation, as seen in the film "Roger and Me."

I have and I agree totally -all these middle aged white guys getting golden Parachutes and everyone else geting screwed .

Welfare to workfare is a joke -sending single parents 30 miles away to make $6.00 an hour and leave their kids alone unsupporvised is more than stupid , it's assinine.

Peyton,

Have you ever asked yourself jow much taxes all these people and corporations pay?
Im sure it will NEVER be enough to please you and you probably think they pay nothing anyway.

Lets take one of those evil oil companies, Im sure you think they arent paying "their fair share".

Last year Exxon paid over $100,000,000,000.00 in taxes on income of $140,000,000,000. Thats $275,000,000 in taxes per DAY! Thats 70% of their earnings.

The tax burden today is not carried by corporations. Most of the largest corporations either pay (a) zero in taxes. Yes, zero, or (2) they are taxed at the corporate rate, which is much lower or (3) they get tax refunds. Yes, refunds.

It's all at citizens for tax justice for verification.

P.S., most of those who are getting the biggest tax breaks are also many of the same ones who have downsized their workforces. That's welfare abuse at it's peak performance. Give corporations tax refunds to create jobs, yet minimize your workforce.
