Default What Bush should have said in Israel

"If only my grandfather and others like him were not funding Hitler just like if only we could avoid buying oil from the Muslims, neither WWII nor 9/11 would happen and you wouldn't have to be stuck in this hell hole".

Instead he blew hot air again:

“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” Mr. Bush said. “We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: “Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.” We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

Funding Hitler? Please tell. More recently, we get more oil from Mexico and Canada than from the Saudis (by far). What are you talking about?

I did not verify the authenticity of the quote below, however, I kind of like it to be honest. And believe me, I am not happy with the GW, however, I can't fault this statement. I wonder who the senator was? And does anybody think the little heroin addict from Germany would have listened to the 'powerful' U.S. senator as he was in the implementation stage of the 'final solution'?

And what about dear ol' Uncle Joe and his Non-Aggression Pact with Mr. Hilter? You know the one. It carved up Poland like a Christmas Turkey. This part of Adolph, that part for Joe.

Sweet deal huh Big!

What Bush did yesterday was the ultimate cowardly act and to mention Hitler was so far over the top that it went into the atmosphere. He embarrassed himself, thus he embarrassed us all.

Of course, if you're part of the 28%, you probably leapt with joy.
