It's exactly this kind of fear mongering that makes this wretched chickenhawk a complete a-hole. I guess in Joe's mind, elect Obama and the country will be taken over by the terrorists and we will all be killed. Harry Reid is a pussy for keeping this guy in the caucus.

I think its funny that liberals call anyone who worries about our security a "fear monger." First, what's a "monger"? That's a funny word itself. But, the main point is that our security IS a concern -- anyone who thinks our security is NOT a concern is ignoring the events going on in the world today and in the last 6 years. We were attacked on 9/11 without provocation. The "fear mongers" don't want that to happen again. The liberals think that if we talk to terrorists and give them what they want, they won't kill us. This would put us at the mercy of the terrorists, who may still kill us anyway. Is it "fear mongering" to want to protect people? Certainly not -- it is good service.
Remember, Islamic extremists (liek the 9/11 attackers) still want to kill you, whether you say you agree with them or not. They want to kill you because you are an American. When they try to kill more Americans, they don't care if you agree with them or not, they still see you as an infidel and they will still want to kill you. You and other liberals are not saving anyone by trying to curry favor with terrorists.
It has been proven many times over that no matter what is negotiated with terrorist groups, there are factions within the terrorists that will not obey and resume the attacks. It's not like the peace negotiated with Japan, North Korea?China or WWII Germany where fighting was settled. It is clearly Hitleresque, post WWI.

Joe Lieberman is still considered by most people to be a Democrate. Yes he lost the primary and ran as an independant, but he still votes with the Democrates on most issues. The only difference is that he actually stands up for national security!!
I personally see nothing wrong with what he said about Obama and believe he is right.
