You have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Russia is playing by the market rules when it sells oil and gas. Quadrupling its price? $125 per barrel, pay it or leave it. Its not Russia's fault Ukraine and other countries can't afford it. They should have stayed a part of Soviet Union.

But, I am sure in Iowa or wherever you are things are explained differently. Frankly, I can't care less.

There is no reason to argue with someone whose arguments regarding Russia are taken right out of Fox News or CNN or New York Times. This is the same media that is required to say "Communist" every time it mentions China.

I didn't say oil -- I said natural gas. I think they are playing by the rules with oil as every oil exporting country is getting the going price of $125.

I think it is rather well known that the Russians were exploiting various natural gas contracts to the detriment of several countries; Germany, France, Poland, Italy, and Croatia to name a few. That's why the BBC, Reuters, AP, and our really good non-partisan friends al-Jazeera report on it quite frequently.

I'm sure everything is ok now so I retract and denounce my natural gas statement 100%; forget I said it. I'll just concentrate on the little Hitler in Iran and his cozy relationship with key figures in Russia. Why would Russia belly-up to the bar with this psychopath? Remember what the psychopath said? He denied the Jewish holocaust at the hands of the Germans, and yet -- he promises a new one at the hands of the Iranians!! Lovely!!

As long as Russia keeps its little tentacles out of Iran, selling it supercavitating torpedoes, and supplying it with nuclear know-how, I'll get back on the Russian bandwagon.

I wonder if that will happen?

Cyclone, you are forgetting USA armed future Al Qaeda and supported Saddam gassing Iranians in the Iran-Iraq war. USA has its own share of "good deeds", not to forget the atomic bombing of Japan.

Its not quite as easy as you say either. Iran and Russia are partners. They don't really care what US or Israel thinks of that. Iran is being smart by developing nuclear energy.

The fact that Comrade Stalin's reign lead to the deaths of over 10 million people is corroborated by a whole lot more sources than Fox News, CNN, or the New York Times.

Even the Soviet Archives which by every account I've read grossly understate things say around 3 million died as a result of Stalin.

"As a result of Stalin's reign" is much different than "Stalin butchered millions".

I never said Stalin was all around angel. His policies led to deaths one way or another but his policies also achieved many good things.
