My Mood: | Re: Hillary Clinton is done She may cut a deal with Obama to get the debt paid. I've heard of this happening before, though I have no proof. She did loan her campaign 6.5 mil today or something like that; not a good sign. The money is gone.
I think the *only* way Hillary can stay in is if she goes nuclear on Obama. She will have to dig something up better than JWright. Or -- if somehow she can weasel Florida and Michigan into the mix. She would likely win there and things could change then.

Typical, conniving, liar.
As for the debt...LOL, let her and Billybob suck up the expense from their trash book deals. Betcha she stiffs them all.

He actually called them and spoke with Bill at length before coming out publicly with his decision. Now, he's switched his endorsement. That sends a message to many of the other undeclared super delegates as well as to those who came out early in support of Hillary.
I have to laugh every time the Clinton campaign brings up Michigan. First off, there is no telling how that state would have gone had both Obama and Edwards campaigned and been on the ballot there. Second, the Michigan democratic party knew their results would be disallowed based on party rules and yet they still held the primary. It's obvious that many in that state understood what was going on by the 40%(237,762) who voted for "uncommitted" in the primary.

| Re: Hillary Clinton is done I heard a report that even if Michigan and Florida were counted the way they voted way back when, that Obama would still be in the lead in both pledge delagates and popular votes. Anyone know if that's true?

Anyone know if that's true? | I know this: if Hillary thought that counting Michigan and Florida would help Obama and he were trying to include them, she'd be yelling foul and insisting that the rules be followed and not changed in midstream. All that bull$hit about including everyone's vote is a crock.
I'm still undecided as to whether I'll vote for McCain or Obama, but if Hillary were the candidate, the choice would be easy.

In fact, people who switched parties voted for Obama by a two-thirds margin. Yet, comedian Rush Limbaugh STILL tried to say that it is what made all of the difference. The polls clearly showed the opposite.

Also notable was that in Indiana, six in 10 Republicans who supported Clinton on Tuesday said they would vote for presumptive GOP nominee John McCain over Clinton in the fall, if that were the matchup. By contrast, most Republicans who voted for Obama said they would back him against McCain. And a slight majority of Republicans who voted for Clinton in Indiana told pollsters that she does not share their values, raising further questions about why they supported her. | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
