What is the difference....Illegal now Illegal then- i don't see a difference!

We didn't invite the millions of illegals. How is it getting revenge when we just want to uphold the LAW of this great country?

I am not in favor of big government (that is the liberals thing) but the government has the job of protecting it CITIZENS!! Yes the government regulates how many people are let in each year and has the responsibility to protect our borders from the millions that sneak in here every year thus breaking out laws.

When I was teaching in California a friend of mine was killed in a car wreck -the driver of the other vehicle was an inebriated illegal -his punishment -Deportation .
As long as cheap labor wil be done by illegals there will be plenty of people helping them get here .

I don't mind if they come here and work jobs for $10.00 a day -but when they are given Medicaid/Medicare and food stamps when they aren't even citizens I get a tad perturbed . None of this is new -look up the Zoot suit wars .

I have had the good experience of working side by side with many many illegals over the years before I moved on to different things. Shingling roofs, framing houses, hard, dirty jobs that honestly, not too many people really want to do. I have been all over this country doing this type of work, and it never ceased to amaze me that the more prosperous the area, the higher number of illegals. I've worked on more than a few wealthy people's homes (people whose names everyone on here would recognize) that were basically made using illegal labor, with the occasional guy like me thrown in, in places like Aspen, Vale, Sedona, Lake Tahoe.
The "illegal" problem is not so much of a problem as it is made out to be. These are the people shingling our roofs, framing our houses, and blacktopping our driveways. Hate to say it, but it is true. And, they bust their ass doing it, while getting paid pennies by unscrupulous contractors who are making a killing off of this cheap labor. I've seen it enough times now where I know I am not generalizing here, 15 years of experience.
This "problem" won't be solved because too many people are making money off of it. People need to wake up and realize this. I find that those who have problems with the illegals haven't gotten their hands dirty enough out in the field to see the role these people fill, and who is actually benefitting from it (not entirely the illegals).

They don't get Medicare or food stamps. But stay perturbed if you wish. You have plenty of company.

Also, the penalty for illegal entry is deportation. But anyone who commits a crime, such as drunk driving, is subject to the penalties of the crime.

The workers I have no problems with -I worked in Breckinidge Colorado framing houses one summer and 1/2 the crew no hablased -but these people coming across the border and heading straight to the SS office are bankrupting the system .
I worked for 25 years until I was injured and I now live on an income that is roughly 15% of what I made when working -and ,at least, in Indiana these illegals are getting close to what I am and they have not put a dime or any effort into the system .

The Chinese are the worst -people pay extravigate amounts to get over here then find themselves as ,at best , endentured servants . AT worst slaves to be used in any way imaginable , e.g. porn , snuff films , etc.-next time you go to a Chinese restaurnt KNOW there are illegals back there doing back breaking slave labor.
I have alot of empathy for these people because when my great granfather came over from scotland he had 2 choices when he got off the boat -fight for
lincoln or go to the coal mines -he chose the latter ,then his son became a share cropper/moon shiner then his son moved north to the factory jobs and I became the first colege graduate of the McDiarmett clan from the highlands of Scotland .

I KNOW in Indiana they do because I have to go to the social security office and DFandC office every 6 months.

*The market will NEVER say it has enough cheap labor and will as long as the supply of low wage earning continues to flood the market it will exert downward pressure on wages. As long as Mexican wages are lower than American, there will be a supply.

I have yet to see you question one other facet of government control over business why start here?

Frankly it is American low wage earners that are hardest hit here. Too bad you dont really care about them.
