I love this guy. Gordon Brown is a good man for prime minister.

He has completely rejected any notion of a boycott of the olympics. Why is it always people who have never doen sport who call for boycott's of the olympics.
Then he rejected the idea that we shouldnot allow the olympic torch into London.

He is a very smart man he realises that 1, we will have the olympics next cycle and we should make sure no one boycotts us and 2, China will be soon the major world power and we should keep them sweet to boost our future economic growth.

Let me just say i hate Sarkozy this man is hell bent on boycotting the olympics, i think this nut will drive France into the ground, he is crazy.

Sarkozy is simply skipping the opening ceremonies. Nothing more.......of interest though is that Mr. Brown is also skipping the opening ceremonies according to officals at No. 10 Downing Street.

Of course, he's now saying that he never intended on going to the opening ceremonies. He is only going to the closing ceremonies when he and GB are to recieve the Olympic flame from China.

So, now the leaders of UK, France and Germany are all skipping the opening. I guess they must all be crazy and or racist according to the logic on other threads. Or maybe they all just never intended on going to the opening ceremonies after all.
